Time plays an essential role throughout AquaCUE, particularly in reporting and importing reads. In most cases, AquaCUE reports and displays time in the timezone of each meter’s service point. For example:
- Exports from the Monitor page Actions drop-down menu produce reads with times given in the timezone of the service point where the meter is physically located. If a service point timezone has not been specified, the system defaults to the facility’s timezone.
- Exporting read and flow data using the AquaCUE Export Data Service API produces reads with times given in the timezone of the service point where the meter is physically located. If a service point timezone has not been specified, the system defaults to the facility’s timezone.
- Data exported from the Assets page>Endpoints tab are in “local time,” e.g. the time as set by your Internet browser.
In the image above, the Last Message Date, Last Read Date and Activation Data fields display dates and time based on the timezone of your Internet browser.
- Interval Meter Read imports use date/timestamps based on where the reads are taken, e.g. in utility local time. Timestamps are given in ISO-8601 format (YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss).
