URL Whitelisting Guidance

If you have been logging into AquaCUE using our legacy login page at
https://aquacue.com/login?legacy=true, and you are now seeing the message below the Sign In button, your IT department needs to whitelist our URLs by following the guidance provided below.

After whitelisting our URLs, please sign in via our new login page at
https://aquacue.com/login

URLs to Whitelist
To ensure uninterrupted access and functionality when web content filters are in place, please add the following URLs to your organization’s web filter allow list.


If your filtering solution supports wildcards, whitelist these URLs:

*.aquacue.com

*.badgermeter.cloud

aquacue.com

badgermeter.cloud

bmi-prod-beacon2ui.s3.amazonaws.com

bmi-prod-portfolios.s3.amazonaws.com 

If you filtering solution does not support wildcards, whitelist the following URLs:

aquacue.com 

wave.beaconama.net 

api.beaconama.net 

bmi-prod-beacon2ui.s3.amazonaws.com

bmi-prod-portfolios.s3.amazonaws.com 

badgermeter.cloud

auth.badgermeter.cloud 

uat-auth.badgermeter.cloud

 

Web Filtering Solution Examples

Common web filtering solutions include: 

  • Cisco Umbrella 
  • Fortinet FortiGate 
  • Palo Alto Networks 
  • Barracuda Web Security 
  • Websense (Forcepoint) 
  • SonicWall 
  • Sophos UTM 
  • Zscaler 
  • WatchGuard 

Whitelisting 

The exact steps to whitelist URLs depend on your specific web filtering solution and are beyond the scope of this document. Refer to your web content filter’s documentation for detailed instructions on adding URLs to the allow list. 

After whitelisting: 

  1. Apply changes to the appropriate networks or user groups. 
  1. Test access by verifying that the Beacon AMA platform functions without restriction. NOTE: Whitelisting URLs can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours.
